Alexander I Balas (150-145 BC). AR tetradrachm (28mm, 14.28 gm, 12h). Phoenicia, Tyre, 149/148 BC. Diademed head of Alexander right / AΛEΞANΔPOY BAΣIΛEΩΣ, eagle with closed wings and a palm branch on right shoulder, standing left on galley's prow; in left field, TYP monogram over club.
