1860-S $20 AU55 NGC. Ex: S.S. Republic. This softly struck, lightly circulated San Francisco double eagle has strongly lustrous wheat-gold surfaces that show faint, scattered abrasions. A pleasing example of an American shipwreck treasure coin, salvaged in a newsmaking and heavily documented operation by Odyssey Marine Exploration.
