Head of Persephone left, wreathed with grain ears, wearing pearl necklace, ΛE behind / Wild boar charging left, BAΣIΛEΩΣ above, ΦINTIA below exergual line. CNS 117. SNG ANS 1123 (obverse head described as "river god," monogram described as NE). With a beautiful deep olive patina, somewhat lighter around devices. Extremely fine.Auction Info
