Description

Elegant 1942-S Lincoln Cent, MS68 Red

1942-S 1C MS68 Red PCGS. This golden-red cent is the epitome of technical quality. There are no mentionable surface blemishes, and the strike displays a sharpness that is seldom seen on Lincoln cents from the San Francisco Mint. One of just two pieces to be graded MS68 Red by PCGS, with none finer. No '42-S Lincoln cent has been certified any higher than MS67 Red by NGC. A memorable and seemingly unimprovable example of the type, and sure to elicit a strong winning bid.
