Description

Henry VIII (1509-47) gold Crown of the Double Rose ND, S-2274, "HK" and Lis mm on each side, XF with luster and choice but for a flan crack at about 6 o'clock obverse; such cracks are often seen on hammered gold and this lovely piece has loads of fine details showing. Struck during Henry's marriage to Katherine of Aragon. An historical piece!
