Thrilling Charles I 1/2 Pound with Hand-Engraved Regicide Vignette
Charles I 1/2 Pound ND (1642) VF (Hand-Engraved), Oxford
mint, Plume mm, KM235.7, S-2944, Brooker-868. 44mm. 58.24gm. An
astounding hand-engraved 1/2 Pound, which in and of itself is rare
in any condition, but to include two historic and stark vignettes
to the reverse of the execution of Charles and Cromwell's mounted
Roundheads and Pikesmen is beyond intriguing. A wonderful selection
for the historian and collector of covetable hand-engraved issues
