1793 1C Wreath, Lettered Edge -- Rim Filing, Burnishing -- NGC
Details. XF. S-11c, B-16c, Low R.3. Our EAC Grade Fine
12. Ex: Mervis Collection. Struck very slightly off center to 1
o'clock with a wider outer border to the lower left obverse and
upper left reverse. The existing detail has the sharpness of VF30.
The light chocolate-brown and mahogany surfaces have myriad faint
to moderate hairlines, with a slightly unnatural, glossy
appearance. The entire obverse and reverse rims show significant
filing to smooth out rim bruises.Ex: Shawn Yancey (7/2011).
