Colonial Popayan, Santa Marta & NR Study Group, Popayan (9 pieces) includes 1/4, 1/2, 1 Real (1810 - three) and 2R (1811 & 1820) plus a bogus cuartilla & 2R. Santa Marta Cu 1/4 Real 1820 (8 pieces) includes some varieties. Nuevo Reino represented by 42 pieces. 1/4 Real (4). Thirty one examples of One Real including a pair of C-III (1772 phony, 1773 VJ), 1792 pair, 1799 trio, 1802 duet, 1810 trio, nine examples of 1812, 1816 trio, 1818 trio, and a quartet dated 1819. Six Ferdinand 2 Reales (1816, 1818 and 1819). Finally the best item in the group is a pleasant nearly Fine example of the rare 2 Reales Carlos III dated 1773 with VJ. Quality is typical for widely circulated examples of the included types of the era; some may be nice for the type while many exhibit much wear and various typical small flaws (several have holes or mount traces).
