Description

A Wondrous and Rare Victorian 5 Cents

Victoria 5 Cents 1880-H, KM10, MS65 PCGS, a fabulous specimen -- Gem UNC with superb snow-white frosty silver luster, hint of gold iridescence, and a bold strike delineating every tiny detail of the design including the elongated beading or denticles of each rim, and beyond those even a partial wire rim on each side. Rare date with a mintage of 90,000 pieces, of which few have survived the ages in any condition. Missing from the Diana Collection sold by Baldwin's in 2009. The finest example of this Heaton Mint issue we have had the pleasure to offer for sale. A wonder coin!
