ROMA, head of Roma right, wearing pendant earring, beaded necklace, and winged helmet surmounted by griffin crest, star on flap; XVI monogram (mark of value) below chin / M•METELLVS•Q•F•, Macedonian shield decorated with elephant head right; all within laurel wreath.
