Impressive Thrice-Struck 2000-P Sacagawea Dollar
2000-P $1 Sacagawea Dollar--Triple-Struck with Strikes 45% and 50% Off-Center--MS65 PCGS. This mustard-gold example received an initial centered impression, but failed to completely clear the dies. The coin then received a second impression approximately 45% off-center toward 9 o'clock on the obverse, of which only the tops of the letters in LIBERTY appear, and a third, plain striking which is shifted just south of the prior impression. A fascinating error.
