1903 $20 MS65 NGC. This is an underrated issue at the Gem level, possibly due to its proximity to the enormous double eagle emissions of 1904 at two mints. Gem 1903s are occasionally obtainable, but anything nicer is a real stretch. This specimen offers bold cartwheel luster over orange-gold, problem-free surfaces. NGC has graded only eight coins finer (2/10).(Registry values: N2998)
