Lustrous Near-Mint 1892-S Morgan
1892-S $1 AU58 NGC. Just a whisper of light rub separates this attractive coin from Mint State, and as a high-end circulated piece, it offers a wonderful alternative to a low-end Mint State piece. The surfaces are silver-white with a bare suggestion of golden toning, and generous cartwheel luster radiates from both sides. While a few contact marks are visible and consistent with a short spate in circulation, there are no singular marks. NGC has certified 49 coins finer for the issue (8/08).(Registry values: P8, N1793)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 255P, PCGS# 7218, Greysheet# 7608)
