Frosty 1876-S Quarter Eagle, MS61
1876-S $2 1/2 MS61 PCGS. Both sides of this highly lustrous and frosty Mint State piece are exceptionally attractive with deep lilac and pale blue toning over brilliant yellow surfaces. An elusive date with a mintage of just 5,000 coins, and an extremely low survival rate, especially in Mint State grades. (Registry values: P2)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 25KV, PCGS# 7825, Greysheet# 8404)
