1793 Half Cent, C-2, Good 4

1793 1/2 C Good 4 PCGS. C-2, B-2, R.3. The 1793 half cent is a single-year type, struck during the initial year of operations of the fledgling U.S. Mint. Most survivors are corroded and well worn, but the present piece has a bold date, and each letter in LIBERTY is readable if examined beneath a lens. Medium to deep brown with a hint of surface granularity. Encased in an old green label holder. MRB AG3.(Registry values: P8)
