Description
1787 COPPER New Jersey Copper, Large Planchet, Plain Shield AU53 NGC. Maris 6-D, R.2. A smooth and evenly struck olive-brown representative with only one relevant but toned-over mark, found beneath the U in UNUM. Struck from late dies with several small breaks on the left obverse, and on the reverse within and below the shield. Listed on page 66 of the 2006 Guide Book.Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 2B4P, PCGS# 509, Greysheet# 209)
