Description

George V Specimen 10 Cents 1934 SP64 PCGS, Royal Canadian mint, KM23a. A highly desirable rarity for George V, thought to be minted in qualities as low as a dozen, with very few of those ever coming to market. The PCGS and NGC census reports further confirm the rarity of the date, with only 3 examples graded. The present example, rather pleasing and totally unique in its presentation, exhibits slightly mottled brownish-amber color on the obverse with orange-copper color of similar texture on the reverse. Given the multi-faceted appeals of rarity and presentation, we expect strong participation from the Canadian specialist on this one.
