Description

George VI Specimen 50 Cents 1948 Concave SP66 PCGS, Royal Canadian mint, KM45. Brilliant white, without even the slightest hint of toning, and noticeable cameo contrast. The strike is bold and the surfaces free of even the most minute marks. Close examination would lead one to wonder how the grade is not higher on this piece, as it is strikingly Superb, with no apparent flaws. None have been certified finer by PCGS, and perhaps this one should have been.
