XF Noe-1 1652 Oak Tree Shilling
1652 SHILNG Oak Tree Shilling XF40 PCGS. CAC. Noe-1, W-430, Salmon 1-A, R.3. 70.2 gn. IN at Left. Golden-brown luster accompanies much of the reverse of this nicely defined Oak Tree shilling. Sea-green and gunmetal-gray toning is also prominent. Wavy, as coined by a rocker press, and mint clips cause an oval shape. The strike is sharp except on the lower obverse and the E in NEW.
