Description
1652 Pine Tree Shilling, Small Planchet -- Cleaned -- PCGS Genuine. VF Details. Noe-16, W-835, Salmon 2-B, R.2. 54.3 grs. This impressive specimen is sharply detailed and lightly worn, but about half the lower obverse legend is off the planchet. From a middle state of the dies, this coin shows a dramatic die break in the lower branches. The surfaces are lightly abraded but show signs of a light cleaning in the past. Listed on page 41 of the 2018 Guide Book.from The Julian Kaufman Collection.
