1887 Cent, Satiny MS66 Red
Rarely Offered This Fine
1887 1C MS66 Red PCGS. Red examples of the 1887 Indian cent
are rare finer than MS65, and only a handful of pieces exist at the
Superb Gem level. This Premium Gem displays satiny golden-orange
luster and a pleasantly sharp strike. No abrasions are seen, and
only a few microscopic pepper specks are discernible with a loupe.
Housed in a green label holder. Population: 29 in 66 (6 in 66+)
