Description
Pedro II silver "Battle of Tonelero" Medal 1851 MS62 NGC, cf. Meili-107 (only listed in copper). 60mm. Struck to celebrate the naval victory in the Battle of Tonelero, this type is only usually seen in copper, with this representing the sole silver example in recent auction record. Extremely rare thus, its grade seems somewhat conservative with few distracting marks to the high-relief devices or in the fields.Metal: Silver
Diameter: 60mm
