1839 1C Booby Head MS63 Red and Brown PCGS. N-6, R.2. Light repunching on star 9 and a tiny die chip near star 10 help attribute this Booby Head cent, a design subtype coined only in 1839. This lustrous representative is predominantly fire-red, although blushes of apple-green are found at the centers. Marks are limited to a few trivial hairlines on the lower left obverse field. MRB MS63.(Registry values: N991)
