1871-S Quarter, Well-Struck MS62
Rarely Seen in Mint State Grades

1871-S 25C MS62 PCGS. Briggs 1-A. The 1871-S Seated Liberty quarter claims a small mintage of 30,900 pieces and few examples were saved for numismatic purposes, making the issue elusive in Mint State grades. This attractive MS62 specimen offers well-detailed design elements and lightly marked surfaces, under shades of bluish-gray and golden-tan toning. Satiny mint luster adds to the considerable eye appeal. Population: 5 in 62, 9 finer (7/18).(Registry values: P6)
