Description

1925-S Dime, MS66+ Full Bands
Frosty and Well-Preserved

1925-S 10C MS66+ Full Bands PCGS. The 1925-S in MS66 Full Bands is a rare item in the Mercury dime Registry Set. This Plus-graded example is especially important, as only five finer coins are reported by each top-tier grading service. This piece is well-struck and frosty with a clean cheek and pristine fields. The top edges of the letters in STATES OF AMERICA show the only noticeable strike weakness, which is usually observed in that peripheral region. Golden toning deepens toward the borders. Population: 26 in 66 (2 in 66+) Full Bands, 5 finer (5/17).(Registry values: N4719)

Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 23HP, PCGS# 4953, Greysheet# 4554)
