1943-P 5C MS68 Full Steps NGC. The Mint switched to a wartime silver composition for the five cent piece in 1942, to conserve nickel for the war effort. This magnificent MS68 specimen is tied with three other coins for finest certified honors at PCGS (9/21). The design elements are sharply struck, with five Full Steps on Monticello.
