Description
1795 1C Plain Edge -- Double Struck -- Fine 12 NGC. S-77, B-6, R.3. Both strikes were centered, showing a few degrees of rotation between impressions. The bust tip is clearly doubled and so is the cap, with an L from LIBERTY superimposed. A splendid double strike with pleasing olive-brown surfaces showing few imperfections for the grade. Our EAC grade Fine 12.Purchased (8/1988).
