Description

1910 Lincoln Cent, MS67+ Red
Elite CAC Registry Candidate
The Absolute Finest Quality Known of This Date

1910 1C MS67+ Red PCGS. CAC. The 1910 is among the more plentiful early Lincoln cents in circulated and low-end Mint State grades, but Superb Gem Red examples are conditionally scarce. The Duckor coin is one of just 15 pieces graded MS67+ Red at PCGS, with none finer. It is also one of just nine Superb Gem Red pieces with CAC endorsement. We have previously handled only a single Plus-designated piece in this grade, and we have seen an MS67 Red CAC coin on only seven occasions. These are the finest-known examples of the 1910 Lincoln cent, the condition rarities that hide behind the availability of lower-grade coins. Two of the top five current highest-rated PCGS Registry Sets lack a 1910 of this caliber. The Duckor coin is fully struck from fresh dies, showing satiny copper-red and pink-orange luster. No carbon spotting or noteworthy abrasions are in evidence. Population: 54 in 67 (15 in 67+) Red, 0 finer. CAC: 16% of a total 56 submissions for this issue/grade passed. 9 in 67, 0 finer (2/20).
