1898 Barber Quarter, Toned PR68
Conditionally Elusive in This grade
1898 25C PR68 NGC. Deep shades of sea-green, olive, and
lemon-gold blanket each side of this high-end Superb Gem 1898
Barber quarter. The strike is full, and the preservation is
excellent. The obverse shows modest cameo contrast, although the
reverse is a little too deeply toned to deserve such a designation.
