Augsburg. Free City "City View" Taler 1626 MS66 NGC, Augsburg mint, KM27.2, Dav-5024, Forster-182. With the name and titles of Ferdinand III. Variety with flower garlands. Just the third example of this type-date we have ever had the privilege to offer, and one which makes any attempt at a comparison virtually impossible. Despite the fact that NGC records having seen one other in this grade, it is hard to imagine many others coming with comparable visual appeal, just a light dappling of russet color present over otherwise icy fields. Superior by all metrics.
