1877 1C -- Altered Color -- NGC Details. Unc. The 1877
Indian cent is a low-mintage issue and the acknowledged key to the
series. The present coin is sharply detailed, with just a touch of
softness on the feather tips. The surfaces display bright red color
interspersed with splotches of lilac and light brown. An appealing
