1806 S-270 Cent, Choice AU
Conditionally Rare
1806 1C S-270, B-1, R.1, AU55 PCGS Secure. Breen Die State
III, multiply clashed near the portrait. The sole dies for this
conditionally rare issue. Plenty of 1806 cents exist in grades
through Fine, but examples with minimal wear are elusive. This
sharp example exhibits deep walnut-brown and sea-green toning.
Marks are nearly absent, but we note as an identifier a small
wedge-shaped flaw on the obverse rim at 7:30. Our EAC grade XF40.
