Description
Charles X Specimen Pattern Franc 1830-A SP66+ PCGS, Paris mint, KM724.1, Gad-450a. Reeded edge, 5 leaf variety. A fantastic rarity struck exclusively on a single day, May 24th, 1830, just prior to Charles X's removal from power in the July Revolution. Stunningly preserved as confirmed by PCGS's lofty SP66+ designation, the sole finest of 12 submitted to the grading service. Abundant mint bloom cascades across the devices, enlivening peach and cobalt tones throughout that surely contribute to the coin's advance aesthetic caliber.Metal: Silver
