Description

Bavaria. Maximilian II gold Ducat 1851 MS63 NGC, KM839, Fr-277, J-127. A scarce type, and not often encountered in Mint State. Indeed, this is the only example graded by either NGC or PCGS. When compared to raw examples sold in Europe, this piece certainly suggests that it deserves to be in the upper echelons of known examples. An exciting opportunity for the German gold collector.
