1864 2C Small Motto, FS-401, MS64 Red and Brown NGC. Small Motto 1864 two cent pieces are elusive compared to other issues in the series. Only the low-mintage 1872 issue is comparatively difficult to acquire. This Choice Red and Brown coin displays impressively sharp devices and satiny mint luster. Copper-orange surfaces yield dappled burgundy and violet toning on each side.Coin Index Numbers: (Variety PCGS# 38233, Base PCGS# 3580)
