Only One Coin Finer at PCGS
1865 2C Plain 5 MS66 Red PCGS. The strike is sharp on this
frosty Premium Gem two cent piece, showing luminous coppery-orange
luster and unabraded surfaces. A few pepper specks of carbon are
not bothersome. This issue is elusive in MS66 Red, and finer coins
are major rarities. Population: 48 in 66 (1 in 66+) Red, 1 finer
(5/16).Coin Index Numbers: (Variety PCGS# 38249, Base PCGS# 3584, Greysheet# 213355)
