1833 JR-9 Dime, MS64
Elusive in Finer Grades

1833 10C JR-9, R.2, MS64 NGC. The 1833 JR-9 dime is a plentiful variety, although it is seldom encountered in grades finer than the Choice Mint State piece. In fact, we have only offered finer examples on five occasions, all graded MS65. This lovely representative has frosty silver luster with brilliant, untoned surfaces and sharp design motifs. Census for all 1833 varieties: 55 in 64 (1 in 64+, 1 in 64 PL), 29 finer (3/18).
