Description

1904-S Morgan Dollar, MS62
Better Date S-Mint Issue

1904-S $1 MS62 PCGS. VAM-4. The 1904-S is a better date in Uncirculated condition, with high-end examples generally out of reach for the budget-conscious collector. Satiny luster presents good eye appeal for this lower-end Mint State 1904-S dollar. Slight strike weakness shows on the hair above Liberty's ear and on the eagle's breast feathers, with scattered abrasions characteristic of the grade. VAM-4 shows a shallow extra olive to the right of the existing olive next to the eagle's left-facing leg.(Registry values: P7, N1793)
