Handsome Choice 1942 "Tickey Head" Farthing
George VI bronze Pattern Farthing (1/4 Penny) 1942 MS63 Brown
NGC, KM-Unl, Hern-U31. Hern estimates the mintage at 8
examples. Commonly referred to as the "Tickey head" Farthing, as
the obverse is similar to that found on the 3 Pence silver issue. A
solid, fully Choice piece featuring attractive caramel patina.From the Gatsby Collection, Part II
