Description

1882-CC Dollar, Brilliant MS67
Elusive This Fine

1882-CC $1 MS67 PCGS. More than 600,000 1882-CC dollars were disbursed through the General Services Administration sales of the 1970s, comprising more than half of this issue's total mintage. Uncirculated examples are plentiful, and the 1882-CC is among the most readily available dates in the Carson City Morgan dollar set. Nonetheless, Superb Gems are conditionally scarce, as GSA coins are notorious for bagmarks. This piece is sharp, frosty, and brilliant, showing a virtually perfect cheek and faintly reflective fields.
