Type One Guide Book Variety
1936 1C Doubled Die Obverse, Type One MS63 Brown PCGS.
FS-101. Cherrypickers' lists three different varieties of
doubled die obverse 1936 cents, but FS-101 certainly has the
strongest doubling and is the variety listed in the Guide
Book. All obverse legends exhibit a distinct spread. This
chocolate-brown example is fully struck and satiny with a few
unimportant marks and a faint fingerprint on the lower
