Description

1860-S Gold Dollar, MS62
Conditionally Elusive

1860-S G$1 MS62 PCGS. The 1860-S gold dollar is typically found in high circulated grades and seldom encountered in full Mint State. This MS62 example is housed in a PCGS Generation 3.1 green-label holder and is far finer than most survivors of this scarce San Francisco issue. Only a few scattered surface marks prevent a higher numerical grade for this lovely Mint State example, featuring a sharp strike and brilliant lemon-yellow luster. PCGS Population: 14 in 62 (1 in 62+), 16 finer (9/25).(Registry values: N2998)
