Description
George VI gold 4-Piece PCGS-Certified Proof Set 1937,1) 1/2 Sovereign - PR63 PCGS, KM858, S-4077
2) Sovereign - PR63 PCGS, KM859, S-4076
3) 2 Pounds - PR64 PCGS, KM860, S-4075
4) 5 Pounds - PR64 Cameo PCGS, KM861, S-4074
Royal mint, KM-PS22, S-PS15. Always popular, it is becoming increasingly difficult to acquire an example of this set as more and more collectors are trying to get one for their collections. A few of the pieces have copper spots (notably before the forehead of George VI on the 1/2 sovereign and on his temple on the two pounds), though all are essentially problem-free. The 5 pounds in particular is quite nice, and a type that is particularly hard to find in high grade. Comes with the original case of issue.
