Description

Nicholas II Rouble 1913-ЭБ MS65 NGC, St. Petersburg mint, KM-Y59.3, Dav-293, Bit-67 (R1). A blistering and fully argent late crown of Nicholas II, this gem rouble knows no equal, as it is the finest graded example by either service. The fields are radiating and problem-free, while the strike is majestic and strong. A hint of a light golden tone envelopes the surfaces, grabbing onto the attention of the viewer and transfixing them with its boundless charm and elegance. Worthy of an elite bid and residing in the finest of coin cabinets. For comparison, we sold a similar piece, an NGC MS64, which realized a hammer of $5,750 in our 2015 NYINC auction (sale 3037, lot 30681).
