Description
1811 C-1 Half Cent, VF30
Famous and Rare Four Star Break
1811 1/2 C Wide Date, C-1, B-1, Low R.4, VF30 PCGS. Manley
Die State 5.0. Even, chocolate-brown surfaces contain minimal
marks. Weakness is present on the left side of the reverse, and
wear throughout is even. This is the terminal Manley Die State 5.0
with the full four star break, which is rare and extremely popular.
Manley reports that the finest four star break is found at the AU
level, and he also states most post-1.0 examples are at the Fine
and below level, making this coin likely in or near the condition
census.From The Siesta Key Collection.
