Charming AU 1845-D Two and a Half
1845-D $2 1/2 AU50 NGC. Variety 6-I. Luster glints from protected regions of this green-gold rare date quarter eagle. The eagle's neck and the curls near the ear show selected softness, but the stars have crisp centrils. This Dahlonega issue has a scant emission of just 19,460 pieces.(Registry values: P2)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 25GX, PCGS# 7738, Greysheet# 8349)
