A compelling survivor of this rare necessity issue, cast to compensate for the lack of circulating coinage in Oaxaca during the Mexican War of Independence. An admittedly crude type, this selection boasts completely identifiable devices, all wrapped in pewter and slate-gray toning, with the noted structural alterations only adding to its historical intrigue.Metal: Silver
