Description

1937-D Nickel, MS63
Three-Legged Buffalo

1937-D 5C Three-Legged, FS-901, MS63 NGC. A well-preserved three-legged Buffalo with satiny luster and champagne-gold toning that gives a warm blush to each side. The strike is well-executed, despite extensive die erosion that is diagnostic of this variety. Grade-limiting abrasions are minor. An iconic Guide Book variety for this series.
From The Eagle One Collection, Part II.
