1880-CC $5 AU55 PCGS. Winter 2-C. The "Crying Liberty" variety, utilizing Obverse 2 that shows several die chips in a line under Liberty's eye. This Choice AU coin displays warm honey-gold patina and partial luster. The devices are well struck, and neither side exhibits bothersome abrasions. The eye appeal of this piece exceeds expectations for the grade and issue. PCGS Population: 59 in 55 (1 in 55+), 60 finer (10/25).(Registry values: P3)
