Description

1796 S-110, B-16 Cent, VF30
Terminal Die State

1796 1C Reverse of 1794, S-110, B-16, R.3, VF30 ANACS. Breen Die State IX. A prominent rim break joins the tops of TY to the rim, and the obverse has additional cracks in the right and lower right obverse field. The obverse dies used for S-110 and S-111, in earlier die states, are easily confused, but there is no mistaken identity in the latest die state. This rich steel-brown example has trivial handling marks and slight roughness on its pleasing surfaces. Our EAC grade Fine 15.
